Ripped some tracks from vinyl that I had in my to sample pile.
Deadline, 17th July.

Rules:
-Must use either of the main samples and the breaks provided.
-Any external instruments allowed, as long as they are not the main element in your beat.
-Any external vocals ie. Acapellas or talking
-Can use external EQ/Compressor

Really struggled getting something started. In the end I tried to think of effects I hardly ever use in the SP and ended up using the distortion on the main sample. Added bass and some talking. Hopefully they'll be more entries, I feel like I picked bad sample choices once I started making a beat!

Drum made on a po33 recorded to SP-303 and played the melody thru the 202 with some 404 compression to capture it all. Dope samples I just wanted to highlight that sweet melody. Good to be back in the ring. Glad to see everyone. Peace

Recorded to SP. Made loops in SP. Played loops in SP. Recorded.
Some "mastering" in Audacity. Very straight forward process.
