Here's a link for the ONLY drums allowed:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8KBfdg ... 0&index=43
Here's a link for the sample that MUST be used:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIGn63BqHJg
RULES:
Only use drums from the link given. Only take chops from the sample link given.
Expecting mainly SP to be used but a DAW for a final mastering or whatever doesn't fuss me.
ALLOWED:
You can use external instruments or a VST or whatever STRICTLY FOR BASS ONLY. Wanna hear some nice bass thats up to your own creative direction so ill let you use whatever for that.
It is the 3rd of November for me as of posting this. Lets just say the deadline is the 10th OF NOVEMBER. Extending deadline if needed is cool. Enjoy
EDIT: Deadline extended to the 15th, would love to see more entries.

i kept it pretty raw on this. i added no fx on drums. i only used vinyl sim for the bass and sample loop then added some master FX.

Managed to get a quick one done, I tend to find it more difficult the more choice of samples there is!!

Been a while since I played my fretless, plus the strings are ANCIENT

I'm a bit off key, but nevermind, gonna post it anyway

Treated the drums with VOICE TRANS first, to fatten 'em up a bit, and then resampled it with various efx
Recorded the bass directly to Cubase VIA Markbass compressore pedal, and then exported everything back to SP and recorded a full take with harmony samples as well
RComp on the exported track, and that's about it
Hope you'll enjoy it
Peace!

Bassline from Korg MS10 + SQ1 sequencer through Coron (haha) Distortion15, Chopped in SP303.
I bounced Intro + drums + bassline + backing rhythm with drumfills and cuts to Hotone wally looper, resampled to SP303 with outro, than back to Looper with delayed/filtered solos on top of it. (I was out of time in SP303). Than bounced to PC + added few other delayed parts to mask some mistakes. I was lazy to record it again...

Sample was tough but I dug it, just a lot audio to dig through.
I used the NES Poly Chip synth for the bass, recorded straight into the 404.
