I used the subsonic effect to create the kick and bassline, chopped it up, and slapped a compressor over all of it .

Didnt do a lot to the samples in terms of effects, sp 404 pitch, eq'd the drums, added a bit of delay on some of the one shots, vinyl sim for compression and subsonic to make the bass line.

my 202 and 303 don't even have enough memory to make a song via resample method unless it's some simple ass 2 bar loop that lasts 15 seconds... and my 404sx is all dead pads, so i can't make beats on it unless they're straight drum breaks+loops no breakbeat no chops
i guess if i used a low sample rate on the 303 i could make a beat with the resample method. i don't understand what you guys have against pattern sequencer though? that's the traditional method...

welp i'm almost done with the beat on 404sx
i had to use the fucking sub pad button to chop and sequence everything because all the pads are dead
now i'm gonna wear out the only good button left lmfao
i really need to get a new one before they're all gone...

Enjoyed having all those samples to play with. This one made me realise though I need to get on the pattern sequencer!!! It’s been a minute since I’ve made a beat without bouncing to DAW etc and I’m sure there’s a better workflow with the pattern sequencer and resampling together.

listen in some headphones. the bass gets stupid deep (subsonic, shit was hard as fuck to tune, took me like an hour straight just getting the bass notes right)
