Haha! I guess it's better to ask for permission first, on occasion, and keep all your limbs. I might be getting old. I think about making beats more than I think about fucking, and neither seem to happen that often.

First battle entry here and first time posting. Been lurking in the shadows for a minute Thanks for the dope sample. This one was definitely out of the comfort zone but I wanted to break the seal and start getting involved in these battles finally!

Thanks! Took a long break from beat making when my SP was stolen a couple years ago. Decided to put all my focus on drawing for a while. Got my new 404 OG a few months back. Great to be back in the arena. These machines are dangerously fun.

I'm glad someone caught that. We got some nice entries, I'm still trying to finish something. That sample isn't the easiest, but it has some goods in it.

edit: Maybe I should mention that the SP was mainly used for effects on this one; not the front runner this time.

Twim - I love getting up in the morning and listening to my battle beat to see what I made being piss drunk. I woke up this morning and gave it a listen and just though what a shitty beat (this is after two other attempts). But I left it up like a filler for the beat battle. Kind of like the filler rice chipolte puts in the burrito. I doesn't do anything, just adds worthless content.

Then you posted up.

I am now disgusted and ashamed of my beat.

Hats off to you if you made a beat out of this. The sample was tough. I tried 4 times and had something that sounded cool, but was too choppy and off beat. I threw in the towel.
