If I understand correctly, every sound used needs to be recorded via mic, right?

I think you should let it ride too. Surprised people aren't jumping on it as it was a cool idea. I got as far as digging out a mic and cable from the basement this weekend, then proceeded to clean up papers and all the other shit piling up down there.
So no actual recording got done. If it is still up this weekend I'll try to give it a go.

Ext mic ok and daw allowed to pitch/cut/transform..
But If you make a beat with the built in mic man you earn respect for sure !

Just used the internal mic and my voice, thought i'd just keep it as simple as possible and go with no instruments

Big learning curve on this one so thanks for the challenge Yak! Pretty happy with how it turned out and would be much quicker if I had to do something like this again having messed around with it now.
My girlfriend was wondering why I been slapping dry spaghetti at 2am though lol.

After a few attempts with my 4 year old to get a beat going I have officially given up on this challenge, which allows me to listen to the beats posted (I don't like to listen until I post).

I heard Asha's beat beat and felt bad for Southpaaws effort until his started grooving at 30 seconds and sounding so smooth.
Southpaaw you should start your song at 19 and loop 30-41 a couple times. So people can feel your groove. I don't use the word groove, but it was pure groove and 10 seconds to get your groove on is not enough!

Awesome tracks so far can't wait to hear the next 3!!

Thanks for the constructive criticism Crane. I got a long way to go with my music so I really value the advice I get on here. Definitely going to look more into arrangement. Peace!
