Tough Choice Between the plo and the mantra. Went with plo cuz I wouldnt know how to begin doing he does on this beat.

What I mean by that is, when I resample, the sound quality starts sounding like shit realquick. I don't know how people achieve clean sounds without a DAW for the arena battle. dudes like plo and lif always have like a pleasant sounding, consistent with their won style, eq on their finished product. These are dudes whos beats i assume are made by resampling to all holy hell. These two boys, eq wise, are always fuckin consistent in their {a e s t h e t i c}. It's difficult for me to create a consistent sonic pallete on a DAW, let alone an SP. How you boys do dat on the sp? And don't feed me this Vinyl SIM shit... Thanks guys for the votes ! tbh, I'm not particulary proud of the beat I've made, the accapella does everything...

@devee: for this battle, I remember tweaking the samples a lot/ applying a lot of effects to finaly find something "acceptable". That's why the process is weird. Sometimes, I do that for an hour and just have a poor bad loop. When I don't chop and just take a loop, I'm trying to change it with effects (and new combos), sometimes it works, but sometimes not.
About EQ, I don't eq the beats that much (often up the bass and high freqs a bit).
It's vinyl sim shit mayne...
For the resampling, it's true that it removes quality but when you wanna apply effects over effects you don't have other choice (eqing after this can "removes" the loss of quality).
For the aesthetic, I don't now, I think in every process of creation, the more you do, the more you know what you like and what you don't, so your style is more and more defined (it also depend of your mood, what you listened recently, etc.)
