What up SPers!

So I had this idea to do a bassline for you all and see you guys flip it! I wanted to get a little creative and write something from scratch to get something new going. I hope you can dig it!

- SPs only, bouncing out and back in is cool
- 180 second max
- Outside drums/samples/instruments allowed (obviously and recommended!)
- Have to use the sample provided in an obvious way

Poll up Sept 19!

Let me know what you think of this type of beat battle. Is this kinda thing cool here? I tried to do something heavy and groovy, appreciate any constructive criticism.

Get creative! Lets go!

Yo, pulled a fast one this morning, just to stay in shape, hope you'll enjoy it >

Fairly simple really - sequenced a basic beat on Arturia drumbrute impact, then played it back and recorded it while fiddling with the parameters, rolls and muting groups here and there. Added MFX 21 on the intro and mid (where the beat drops). Chopped bass, played the line. Then reversed a few bass chops and added MFX9(fuzz), resampled, then added DJFXLooper and recorded a take.
Finally recorded a synth off Kaossilator.

Bounced it to PC and exported it with a bit of compression, and that's it.
Peace!

Quick beat with added minilogue and some cheesy 80s b-movie trailer on top!

worked this last minute, but pretty happy with the results. (except the solo)
used some drum and game sounds samples, recorded a few guitar parts and mashed it together

Polls come up today, if youre still out there pop your beats in the thread before midnight!
