Had difficulty using these samples!! Apologies to anyone else who had as much difficulty with these samples as I did, I don't seem to have an ear for sample material!!!

Anyway, I managed 2 short beats! Didn't add any outside instruments, just messed around with the pitch effect mostly to get separate notes to play with.

yo sp's,
while it's hot i'm awake too early, time to kick a beat.
i did what i do. took the break as a whole. picked 1) the grampa yodeling 2) the madlib kind of tipsy loop in two variants 3) the ghost flute and 4) an extra snare 5) a loop from the record as an intro. 6) ripped 81 bpm nas (i like jayz). i always ve trouble with acapellas - maybe the next sample supplier can provide one? (if it's not drake :D). 7) added no extra instruments just a lot of comp and eq from my daw.

keep 'em coming, folks! btw: nice works c. belly, checked on your bc-page. a lot of stuff! you're the one! and dope samples! first choice for me.

Alright, all this talk today on that other post about scratching got me itching (pun intended) haven't scratched in a while, just had to give it a go.

Did a quick one, simple really - took one drum break, used VOICE TRANS efx to fatten it up a bit, then looped it and resampled it with delay, djfx looper and filter, also added a few chopped up drum rolls here and there.
Eventually added MFX23 for bass lines.

The vocal sample was chopped into several pieces and proccessed with MFX3, and then layered on top of the drum track. had the most fun with that one.

Scratching was done on Numark pt01 scratch, factory fader - that's a bummer, gotta change that asap...the record is trusty ol' 'Scratch roulette 45"

See ya next round fam.

I'll try and post the poll today, once I finish work, unless anyone wants to wait a couple of days if they have a beat in the making?
