Ah, this guy...Fuckin' love OT, probably one of the most overlooked and underrated blues guitarist in the world today.


RULES>
- Must use SP to create the track / bounce / multiple SP allowed

- Must use the drums provided in the first link, no outside drums (limited to kick/snare/hat combo, you can still use cymbals, shakers, clap and such)

- Must use the samples from the songs provided BUT - external harmonic instruments are allowed, without exception. Bass, keyboards, guitars, violins, trumpets....I wanna see you do your best here and knock me off my feet.

- Vocals allowed, acapella (if rapping), movie quotes,friends laughing, babies crying, girls going into PMS rage, whichever.

- Mastering the track allowed

- 3 min time limit

used the Bora Spuzic Kvaka sample, bass guitar, minilogue for the background noises and an interview from a youtube clip.

I sampled a little bit of everything (including pieces from every drum kit) but it was mostly centered around the Japanese track.

I also sampled bass notes from my Bass Station II and played them on the SP.

All done on the SP404 SX.

Layered samples 1, 3 & 4 (no tinariwen), pitching duties and drum processing carried by the 808, performance chops on 555, bounced to 404 for mastering effects; no outside samples/instruments this time. Except the doom ofc.
