Voted Sev Seveer
That track has 'Ninja tune' written all over it, and I fuckin' love Ninjas (well, the early works mostly, mid 90' stuff, but still)
Spacey and tripped out. Loved it.

Voted LoopmantrA, man, I've been lovin your style. Loved everything about this one. The melody, drums, vocals. It told a story. & Clean chops (I got a thing about clean chops).
Also loved Teewoks & Dj Pogo.......
Teewok, your beat fit Nas perfect, so much so that everytime I listened to it I felt like I heard it already back in the day, it's hard to explain, but like it was an actual Nas beat I listened to in the 90's.
Pogo, loved that your beat was creative, different, but I could still bob my head to it...that pussycat shit was great. Loved the vibe.
Some crazy beats in this one, I liked something in all of them.

Teewok super dope flip of that sample. I wanted that beat all by itself, but I get why you added Nas. Good shit man.
Selim damn. You had me at the 202 crunchy drum. Nice work on the track. It was the most chillaxed beat here. Good summertime groove.
Ferrari Boy. La mia traccia preferita da una battaglia SP in un attimo. Ti sei ammalato 202 abilità man. Dovresti fare un altro nastro un giorno per davvero. Hai il mio voto. Pace!
Vote Ferrari Boy

Very tough choice between teewok and the Italian Man. Went with Ferrari over Teewok strictly based on the fact that at the moment im really digging the vapor vibes. Both of these tracks are equally excellent!

Thanks Teewok! Coincidentally I voted for yours early on. Such an infectious melody and groove and you clearly know your SP inside and out. I just picked mine up two weeks ago today so I'm still figuring it out haha... I'll keep going with the SPBB's in future weeks, it's so inspirational hearing all the talent on this forum.

I'll chime in here, despite not getting my submission in... soon I'm on summer break.
Hands down for me was Sev Seveer who got an easy vote from me.
Thought Teewok set the bar pretty high straight off the bat, and Ferrari did great jamming on those chops.
Loopmantra I think your sample work is great, just wish you'd cool it on the vocal shots, use them more sparingly... like the scratching last round and the walking dead track from the other other round i reckon it takes attention away from how great your track production is.
Welcome new guys, congrats to Selim H.P. and nice work all!

Have known all week that it was definitely close between Sev Seveer and LoopmantrA. Should have just voted right away when the poll went up. Instead, i went through and gave everything a couple of listens which only complicated the matter- lots of nice work here.
In the end it was LoopmantrA by a nose- love what you did with the drums, the bass work, and the overall dubby feel. But it could have just as easily been Sev. Very nice, and love that bass line.
Definitely some honorable mentions- DJ Pogo Angel, Penny, Green Dutch & Selim H.P. And while I voted for LoopmantrA, it seems its actually Ferrari Boy that I can't get out of my head.

Lots of great beats this round fam. I tried to place a vote last night but was already too late.
Would’ve dropped one for Teewok. Loved the beat and the pairing w the Nas acapella. Made me wish for an entire Nas album remixed w that OG production style... it was like a snapshot from the good old days of hip hop. Sounds like a Nas + Pete Rock collabo... a little reminiscent of the sound on Edo G’s “My Own Worst Enemy”. Most excellent.
Rounding out my top 3 would b Ferrari Boy & Sharris. Big ups!

Totally comes through in ur beats. Can tell u come from the MPC school of beat making. Ur sequencing is meticulous!

Listenin to Teewoks beat actually trips me out. I have to remind myself when listening to it that it's not really a NAS beat, it's Teewok, he just made it, I never heard it before!
Ghost Bazz, did you get my beat? I made the beat as perfect as I could, but Superman's mischievous magic fucks the beat up, which is what the tape echo & fucked up scratches represent...... the beat is the tongue tied city........ because Superman's mischievous magic gets left behind.....& messed it up.
Not looking for a compliment, just curious if you got it

I've never told stories with my beats before, so I'm workin on that.
& yeah, I'm obsessive compulsive with my chops! I'm somewhat of a perfectionist, but it's why I like sp beat battles, it's helping me to loosen up a bit. What's funny is I got an sp a year before an MPC & didn't even use a sequencer the first year of beat making. Just recently started making beats I actually like with the sp sequencer (& it's because of these battles).
