SP-555 and multiple pad resample

Hello everybody,
before I get the 555, I'd like to know for sure if there is a way to resample more than one pad/sample at a time to another pad. Somebody confirmed, that it is possible, but I can't find any hint in the manual HOW it is done.
If it's possible, could anybody please describe the procedure in short words?
Thank you.

Its possible. Just hit record and resample and hit up to 4 pads at once. Thats it.

Hi DJFrantic,
thanks for answering. A bit confusion here: maybe I got you wrong, but I'm not talking about Loop Capture (where a 'Record' button is used). Instead I want to resample the normal way, i.e. from several pads to one pad. Some samples could be much longer than 15 sec, e.g. several minutes or something, so I need the capacity of the standard pad memory (CF-card) to do the job.
In the 404 section I've read that it's possible there, and the 404 hasn't got any LoopCapture.
So maybe you're already talking about what I mean, and I just miss it?

Yeah, frantic is right. Just find the resample button on the 555 and press it and the record button lights up and you can pick which pad to resample to and then pick which pad to use as the source. If that doesn't help I know I explains in the manual.

yea, I wasnt talkin about resample. Just the standard sampling. Ive seen people on here (like Euclid)put whole tracks together using only resampling.

So now, since I own the SP-555, I found the right answer, and I've noticed, that in this thread we actually didn't talk about the same thing.
I was asking about 'Sampling' and 'Resampling' of multiple pads, not about 'Loop Capture'. Only in Loop Capture the Record button is used, not at all during the normal Resample process (as far as I know). Anyway, thank's again for trying to give the right answer.
Ok, I figured out now, how multiple pad resampling (not talking about Loop Capture) is possible. In the manual it is not explained at all, and there is also a mistake in the description of the Resample process generally, which is the solution at the same time. On page 24 under 'Resample', point 11, they say: 'Press the pad TO WHICH you want to resample'. Wrong. At this point the user has to press the single pad OR multiple pads he wants to resample from, the SOURCE(es), NOT the destination. Just the little word 'to' makes the difference. Without that it makes perfectly sense, apart from resampling multiple pads, which isn't mentioned at all in the whole manual.
That's the answer, maybe also for other people who tried to do the same thing.
