ALL SYNTH SPBB#05

RULES
-Beat style hip hop, underground, lo-fi, or downtempo

-Must use synths as the main instruments and sounds (definition of “synth” to include all soft-synths, virtual synths, or general synth/electronic-instrument setting on any sound module, groovebox etc.)

-Time limit 2:00

-Must use synth drums/percussion. Either make them through synthesis or use drum machine samples. Any thing you consider a drum/perc hit maybe used. Glitches, bleeps, whatever.

-Vocal samples allowed. (rhyming, singing, vocal stabs, one liner loops, scratching, accapella etc.)

-All sounds, drum and synth sampled into and sequenced on SP's. If you need to bounce out to other units that is fine, just be realistic.

-Outboard/DAW mastering allowed. (EQ, Saturation, Compression/Multi-Band, Limiting)

SPECIAL RULE

-Use a text-to-speech app to generate some humorous dialogue and add it into your beat somehow. Make a funny skit, one liner, a few random words, some oddly placed obscenities, use multiple voices to create dialogue, etc. Just make it comedic. Any text-to-speech phone/computer apps allowed.

That's sick! Dope ass drums. It's all good, it doesn't have to be humorous. I just wanted people to use speech synthesis in a all synth battle.

Got another jam out of the mc-307 / sp-808 combo. I think I'll use this one for the comp, but it might be a game day decision.

tried to sequence a roland D2 with the sp505 into the sp404 this is what I came up with and yes the special rule has been spudge all over the track.
