noddyhead got my vote bc it had some bounce to it and actually chopped the drums and made them sound better.second for me would be Lifalittle chaotic but it had some energy to it
peace to the rest

I went with Paws. Just a dope ass production all together. Everyone had some bright spots, but I really enjoyed that salad. Lock, Noddy had some dope flips too. Lif you have some incredible sounds man I'd like to see you just make some regular ol boom bap shit though! Nice work everyone this round wasn't easy imo

This was a great round, I was away from my samplers for the weekend and these beats got me real inspired and ready to get back to em. Lif, noddy and ghost bazz were my favorites and it was a hard choice but I had to give it to ghost, loved that bass sound. Awesome stuff all around tho!
sidenote: I would love to hear a rapper on green dutch's beat, it seems like the perfect soundscape for a dope lyricist

Hey all!
Though I didn't participate, here are my two cents;
noDDy hEAded fREak - you've been at it for a minute so I'm expecting greatness... *tunes in* AH SHIIII. i don't even recognize the bjork sample XD gud stuff doe!! DAMN, we even get a change up! this shit is hott.
Green Dutch - ANOTHER OG head. I expect greatness and fuck yes, u deliver. i'm loving this syncopated boom bap though its a lot like the beat i made on my 202 (which i never submitted [something i regularly do]). good loop mang!
Ghost Bazz - This sounds sequenced and umm pretty... uhh, well arranged. Are you sure you stuck to the rules?
l i f - ANOTHER REGULAR BRING THAT FYRE. Fuck yeah, you used both of the samples and added your own spices to the mix. bravo
YAKUL - you clearly stuck the rules and used only SP, for that I applaud you. However, i don't really like slowed down bjork.
Locksmith - damn dude, you chopped this up really well. This beat is solid. I can totally hear an MC on this. Great job mang.
Pauzh1 - Dude, I always enjoy your work. You usually produce the most unconventional beat. I can totally hear the limitations of your SP, you followed the rules. Cheers to you mang, please keep participating!!
Damn, this is a tough one. All the regulars came out with guns blazing with their experience from other battles...
However, I have a soft spot for underdogs.. And Locksmith's beat made me feel some type of way.
And that emotional reaction, that catharsis I experienced, is way more valuable than whatever boom bap makes me feel.
Overall, this was a great round!
MY VOTE GOES TO LOCKSMITH

edit...
^Yeah bruh. Lots of pattern copying on the 404 w no pattern copy function. Takes fast fingers. My main SP is an 808... no sequencer... way different workflow than the 202, 303, 404, or 555 - which all have a similar 1-track sequencer as far as I know. It's made me focus more on building songs. I try to emulate that when I work on the 404.
