Microkorg?

Is the microkorg a good pick for my first synth? I was able to mess around with my friend's for a day and have been interested in picking one up ever since
nice peace of equipt .not really delved into the custom patch mode . but the sound engine (especially the bass) is solid . also good piano sound.
