kaossilator with conbination with sp-555 i think you can make music like this dude in this video...

link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URI83FFQ-8k

so you: with sp-555 "loop capture mode" and workarround into pads (LIKE DJ FRANTIC SAY) i put this 3 or more times...because is THE BEST WORKARROUND IN SP-555...(4 me)

pierlo: is the way like you use it together??

i dont have the kaossilator...but i use others instruments in this way with my sp-555.

The kaosilator is worth its weight a 1000 times in gold. Just make a nice lopp with it and use loop capture. And wopps there you have your sample and asing it to a pad.

Also if you hook the kaosilator to a kaos pad of anykind you can adjust the sounds quite a bit before you record it into the sp.

Makes it way more versatile.

Funny you should ask about this since it was a my main workflow for a while. The Kaossilator was the only device I could think of where you can play it without the size of any keyboard getting in the way. Since you can't save sequences or songs- sampling was an obvious workaround.

Here's my article from the Producer's Edge Magazine archives.

The synth sounds are solid. The leads and basses are very nice. I bought the ko-1 for the sounds more than anything but it's cool to jam with. Even better is sampling the sounds from it to the SP555 to add some spice to your tracks. Definitely not toyish sounding, even though it looks like it.

Good little inspirational tool as well, there's even a couple of albums that have been made with just the ko-1 and they sound alright.

I'm lovin' the SP555 too :D
