Hello again. New to forums in general so I don't know if I should've added on to my previous post or made a new one entirely
My problem as I stated in my last post is that i'm having trouble recording almost all samples on my Roland SP404sx due to particularly the voices and singing being muffled and completely muted along with other instruments.
I bought a new cable since thats what everyone told me was the problem in my last post but it still doesn't work. this is the new cable i bought:

I read through the manual and it's almost as if I have the problem of the C.Canceler being on as it fits the description of the sound i'm getting from the input. However I switched the effect limit mode to off so I don't see how that could be a possibility
Is my SP defective? Is there a Roland support line I can call or contact? Possibly a chain I can go to like sam ash or guitar center? Any and all feedback is appreciated

If its new, straight out of the box, then take it back.
If you got it from eBay, take it back.
If it was a gift, ask for the receipt.
Now if you want to fix it then you shouldn't take it to a chain. If its brand new then it should have a warranty, if not, you can still send it up to Roland. The only issue is that Roland is expensive.
I have a guy who fixes my stuff for 50 an hour. He fixed my 202, 303, and 404. You can also sell it, I have been looking for a 404sx. I could buy it from you for like 250.
Also, have you made sure that the RCA are in the correct place? Red to red white to white? Are your samples from different sources (iPod, phone, computer, TV, etc)?
p.s. you should have posted it to the previous thread.

the samples are from both my iPhone and my Macbook air and the result is the same. Thank you for the offer of $250 but I think it's better if I return it.
