You have a whole albums worth of songs to choose samples from. Make your dopest beat and post it up by September 20th. I included a TR808 drum kit if you need it. No other outside samples except for vocals or sound effects(break out the air horns if you must). This unreleased album was produced by Smoke. Here is the Album excerpt:

"SF Bay Area band (1969 - 1979) led by electric vibraphonist Woodi Webb (aka Salah Webb), in its earlier period BASF recording artists featuring trumpeter Fred Berry, in its later more experimental period featuring newcomers George Glover (electric piano) and Eric Golub (electric viola)"

Anybody know that situation where you make like 3 loops but can't freaking find a way to weld them together? D: Had to let it rest for a day and after hitting record a couple of times it finally clicked now.

That's what happens when instead of a song you get a whole album to sample...!!!

This cassette is mad good Alnitak, any section of this could be a beat battle entry and slay it.. huge improvement on the source-material I dare to say (reckon there's a reason Smoke didn't get signed.. lots of noodling, not much going on imo.. reminds me of stoned jam sessions I used to have with a mate of mine from Brazil... he'd blow so much weed we'd allsmoke ourselves straight, then it'd be all downhill from there). Still trying to see if I can find anything in there to build an entry out of.......

here's mine, og404 and no outside samples, but I threw in Kool g Rap's "Ill Street Blues" acapella to make it more interesting. i would have tried for a better take but accidentally erased my main resampled drum pattern... too lazy to do it again
