this is battle #194, which I start now as one of three people who got votes in #193.

there's a melodic track and a drum track.
the only drums you use should be from there, except for what lif and/or CuzVin90 might drop.

By the way: lif? Cuz? Drop some samples if you like

You should use a SP as your main tool, only use sounds from the posted samples, BUT you can use extra bass and/or vocals if you like to.
For anything else, please read the original rules as linked above.

Voting starts next Tuesday, November 17th and will run for 3 days.

I'll take up your invitation to contribute something, but less say is optional... though I would love to hear THIS A CAPELLA used in some way (challenge anyone to use the whole thing from start to end (it's only 2mins long))

And this BIG-ASS ??? WTf ? might be just what's needed to contrast the smoothbutterbutter that is those Keys and Delay Stylings...

Hey this will be my first beat battle, I see bass is allowed but is a synth lead ok? I made something I think is pretty dope but it has a bassline and a little synth lead loop. Please lmk asap

@Svvje I don't know, to me synth is ok, as long as you use the samples, but I'm also new here. Maybe just post the beat and see what happens .. ?

Damn the few submissions are already dope. Hopefully mine is somewhat enjoyable. Only used 404 plus an mc 303 for the synth. Kept it all hardware lol.

edit: man, i forgot to use the rhodes...lah! way loose on (i lost count) the tempranillo.. explains the timing on the chops..

We'll see if i get around to adding the other sample, but I know I'll be using that drum solo for a long time coming - cheers sev!!

Edit/edit: mastering is best done while relatively sober and thru speakers, not thru cheap headphones.
