or if you wanna chop your beat after,
to make sure it stays in the 1min mark

RULE 6 STATES:Only 1 SP, entries must be not longer than 1 min. Bouncing to an external recorder permitted. No external audio processing such as EQ, Comp, etc. Multiple entries allowed.

normalizing is a tough one since, 'normalizing' usually means a gain increase
i know some normalizing plugins even use dynamic compressors to stop the track from peaking
also, since a gain increase would also mean a higher S/N ratio and a greater dynamic range
i would
definitely consider this 'processing'
however this is such a minute and technical issue,, i really dont give a fuk (and im pretty sure no one else will)
lets just say for future reference, that
no external normalizing is allowed but since this hasnt been discussed yet, im gonna say that l i f has NOT broken any rules this round (especially since im SURE some others have used this same process on their past entries)
make sense and sound fair ??
