just found a way to hot swap sd cards on the 555 with no interruption! if you use the loop function to loop a bar or two of the beat thats playing, ejecting the sd and putting a new one in wont interrupt the loop from playing (playing a pad off the internal memory causes it to hiccup when the card is switched) the only downside is that you cant use effects to fade out the loop but still has served me well in long sets or when im going b2b with the homies.

Cool tip. I did not know that. You can also hot swap cards while doing anything in banks a&b.

yeah i saw in a live performance by panda bear at people party dvd. you could see at the beginning of one of his songs that he did this with his 404.
