Votes went to OTBT and 4rizona... so much dopeness this week but these cats got it on layering and some kinda can't quite put yr. finger on it vibes... (okay, dopeness in 7/8 will always convince me... like I was on his lefthand side, sure.. wowww thanks!)

I could listen to Frank e. Lee's cut selections all day and I'll give an extra shoutout to sebp too. Illness.

Myself I got some cuts and beat together early today but no time to cut it into a composition.. either way nothing i couldve done would have been in the running with more than half the shit you all (e'ryone) came up with this week. Impressive...

I gave my votes to GOODMAMA and CHULUKINAT

I really liked the layering of the melody line and the bass on CRANO's beat.

GOODMAMA did a real good job with the drums sounds and overall general sound and feel. Love that whistling noise in the second half.

going with KIYANI and SEbP

OTBT's and Lars Fusce's had a really strong vibe, definitely some gangsta shit

and i gotta give a mention to Concrete Belly (asha c) he just made a really solid track.
could totally hear some old school wu tang or even some big l over that beat

KIYANI came with the dopeness tho
besides the flip, it was also my favorite mix
really nice drum and instrument textures

larsfucse- Love the piano samples and the vinyl crackles feel to the track. Nice smooth sound and had a sweet chill vibe. Loved the spacey psychedelic sounds that came in towards the end.

GOODMAMA- Nice lofi sound, the background voice samples was a nice touch. Wasn't feeling the drums as much though, just felt too pitched down for my personal preference, although I felt they worked on the second half and enjoyed the how it got a bit darker!! good work.

gis_sweden-Real laid back vibe, totally unexpected from you as you normally lay down the sweet ambience!!! but this was a refreshing change and loved that sloshy snare.

Frankie_LEE-Nice clipping that gave it just enough amount of fuzz without distorting too much. Liked how you used the bass line and melody.

4rizona4l-Nice, loved the drum sound and lofi grittiness of the bit crusher. nice use of the vocal sample too.!!

KIYANI-Liked how it came in, the drums sounded sweet and the piano sample worked great!! nice smooth vibe, nice addition at 41 and the track really took a totally different change but worked well and sweeet bass!!!

rak- Nice!!! loved the kick/bass sound you got going on with subsonic? sounded crazy at about 44 secs in and then the transition back was smooth!!

otbt- nice psychedelic vibes and that vocal sample worked really well, loved the live drum feel. SWEEET beat!!!

PLAYBOY SMOOTH-Niceeee!! loved how it came in at 0.12 the bass sounded sweeet, was that subsonic? Loved how you used and layered the samples.

HeyzousBahaFrancis- liked the drums man, nice natural vibe with cool rolls and fills!!! sounded sweet!!nice use of the flange? to get it sounding like someone was scratching!!!

SebP-Crazy pitched up intro and came in sweeeeet, my fave so far I think, loved the use of the vocal track and snare rolls. good work!!!

Chulukinat-Liked how you used the main sample, drums sounded a little muffled, nice use of subsonic bass? Track had a nice minimal style that worked well.

KIYANI: The beat just flowed nicely and I enjoyed the warmth & grittyness. Then came the second part which I really dug as well. Good job!

rak: My second vote was a very hard choice between OTBT & rak. I thought you guys both did a great job, so it just came down to personal preference. OTBT's beat was very nicely executed and very classic hiphop, but it was also very dramatic. rak's beat was a little more experimental and gritty and less dramatic, so I just picked the vibe I liked better. Both great work tho!

So should I provide some samples for the next one? I'm trying to think what would be good. I have a lot of samples I brought back from India on vinyl and cassette, plus loads of Pakistani tapes my Grandfather recorded himself. An SP forums in India battle could be kinda cool. But I was also thinking of a Final Fantasy themed ting
