decent amount again. andrew hill, art blakey, and the sun ra loop provided by me, other two samples provided by ATLS. Drums by OTBT.
rules:
sp only, multiple sp & tape bounce allowed
use at least 3 samples not including drums
only subsonic for bass
no outside synth/samples
a capella ad libs okay
must use layering of at least two different samples(excluding drums) at some point
2min max
deadline august 7

no i mean the music samples. trying to encourage pitching/creative chopping to make two songs fit on top of one another.

tape bounce ok? and vocal ad lib means what specifically? just short vocal parts not a whole piece?

Dig the samps guys... last night spent a quarter hour just listening to that sun ra loop while browsing the interwebs
Just echoing xxRATxx... yo with multiple sp's allowed surely tape-bounce is legal as long as all processing is done within the sp?
(For example sometimes I'll forge a bassline with a microchop/filter and the varipitch-wheel on the 808... if that shit a'int bounced to an external source the sp records the filter-sweeps but not the pitch-changes..)
I'll interpret the vox-rule as vocal-cuts/skits are legal but not full acapellas?
