man i don't know, this was recorded without eq and things straight from the 303 without Mastering...i used lofi resampling+extrem comp setting+a bit of reverb...

NIce work y'all. For me, I gotta give it to OTBT with Shub in a close second. OTBT just hit it with that smashin shit that I love. Props. Really dug Shub though cause of the compostional element throughout the tune. Also, Shub, did you use the drum solo from the Alice Coltrane as your kit? Shit is poppin homie.

My vote for the first Lif beat.
OTBT is good. A little overdosed with vocals, but i like the overall atmosphere and the picture.
Also liked the bass groove of yung tamagotchi, had a familiar idea on bassline but lacked the time, was too obsessed with drums.

That Alice Coltrane track is one of my favourite. Chopped that drumsolo to hell. Resampled some parts with different FX. Used FilterDrive, EQ and Ring Modulation. there was about 350 drum hits and I've took only 12 for the main drum kit. Some additional hats from one of drumbreaks. Fingered that beats in a middle and made a few patterns around.

was about to say the same thing. its not hard to obsess about death. on one hand, it can make you appreciate and value life more and on the other hand, of course it can be terrifyingly tragic, painful and mysterious. Its not impossible that there is some soul that this world is like a school for. Maybe we're Godlings in training like that dude Duncan Trussel imagines. His podcast is really inspiring as well as hilarious. often when i come across someone who seems depressed i mention Duncan.

Shub - where did you come from all of a sudden hollaa! The hell you can make such an awesome buildup damn! My kind of music!! .. the end sucked the wind out of the sails compositionally tho' -- a leave-em-wanting-more ending wouldve been perfect perfect. This anyways is my runner-up. Blown away by the textures and layers and musicality.

Vote this week to the YungTamagotchi. Dude - again with the tease this track was too short,.. alrite i'll listen twice. You make the biggest sound out of minimal means from way out left. Anyways man, for me, nothing made sense until i hit 23 - jus' keep being your moody-ass self 'cause your sounds are all yours.
