All the beats are hella dope on this, I guess some outer space inspiration waves n shit are hitting the planet harder then usual this week

Smoking Patterns for sampling one of my favorite scenes from the film that made me buy my first turntables when i was like 13-14, think I'm going to watch it again today

Marco Grouch for the bangin' drums and cuts, supa dope beat!

My choice of vote oscillated between Marco and l i f, and after some thinking I decided to vote for Marco.
Tough pick tho.

Really enjoyed chopper man's drums and sample structure so I voted for him.Marco was a close second for his lofi awesomeness.Everyones beat was crazy good though plus the samples were really good this week.I had a little bit of a struggle flipping them myself so I opted for taking little snippets and dragging them out and drastically changing them w/ effects.Cant wait for the next battle its really helping me learn my SP!!

Definitely some dope flips. Grouch, Smoking Patterns,Godog and Chop was my favs. Killer shit fellas..

I'ma take my time with this poll; while a lot of us flipped the same sample, the variety/styles is crazy. Sometimes I wish we could adjust the poll to vote for top two or three instead of having to split.

Runners up were lo fist, chopperman & smoking patterns.

I went for SP-Warlock, loved the vibe and the doom vocals. But I have to admit that it was really hard to chose one between all those dope beats.

Level is just so high right now...
Chopper went crazy one those drums...
Droop is a Fx master ...
gogdog and I went for the same part of Ra sample but he flipped it in a really different way and I enjoyed so much to listen to is beat with all those vocal chops...
and I could continue all day with all the other beats !!

ya know, this is actually possible. When setting up the poll you can adjust the "options per user." Not a bad idea since you could still just vote for one if you want.

Well then I forward this as a suggestion for a general rule-change (rather than it being up to the poll-thread-starters discretion) and up for discussion .

Reckon the poll for this battle is already making a good case for it with a spread of singles... the option of voting top-two could alleviate taste-bias to a degree as well as potentially avoid the three-way tie for two votes each we saw recently.

Had to give my vote to droop cause it's so fucked-up-disorienting-jangly-heavy-sickening (and that's the kind of stuff I like). Runner up for me is pate.

I was always planning to make a pure 202 tape with that exact picture and edit a 202 into his hands but I never learned how to use GIMP and after I got the SX I pretty much forgot about doing 202-only tapes until I convinced everyone from Sum Tapes to get one (but then Sum Tapes had about 500 internal meltdown deaths and that's a whole other story...)
