Dope submissions. I haven't done one of these in a long ass time and forgot how much fun it was to noodle around on the 404.

For me, my vote came down to tesla and Runme Raw. I ended up choosing Runme Raw. I liked how he used the fx and his bass line and his overall arrangement.

i think i suck at writing these but they enhance the voting so here it goes.
smoking patterns - the drums have a strange yet nice swing. digging the filtering. nice use of delay at the end
Freshserf - excellent work all around. i'll use this for the first track on the bandcamp compilation. might have to vote for it also.
gis_sweden - warm samples and effects. it was a thrill to hear you rap! i hope you stick with it and i can hear you develop it. i like that "over and out" dismount.
andy ongulous - masterful drum work, fascinating intense vocals match the beat very well. a favorite
thom keating - vocal sample goes nice. solid flip. cool intro and outro. the drums could've used some variation in my opinion
Patryk_K - sorry i misspelled your name in the poll. nasty gritty beat. doesn't sound like you sampled Exodus tho. the accapella is synced perfect. some arrogant rhymes but Nas can do that. it probably only bugged me because i saw my own reflected arrogance from helping facilitate these sweet flips.
chopper - where's the bass ya lazy turd? do better next time and i won't kick your ass.

pate. - raw! i hope this battle entry is the first of many
Marco Grouch - teaser intro drops into a no bullshit beat that makes me want to rhyme monotone. i didn't love the skippy part of the intro, but i'm sure someone did. this stuff is subjective, after all
Lo Fist - Lofi anthem! on point from start to finish. another favorite. i'll use your track art for the compilation cover if thats ok with you
tesla - fire! short but you made your point. each portion is very dope and they transition great
rak - out of key in a wonderful way. unique portal
concrete belly - cool warp effects. nice work with those hihats
paoloactual - great intro sample. beautiful careless vibe. good photo choice. this one is up there
zartie biff - what a name! and this looney production lives up to it!

top standouts for me were:
Patryk - absolute muck! sends me into nasty spasms (if the sample is ducked out does it still count as a flip? )
tesla - real grimy! totally authentic sounding, wouldn't even flinch hearing it on a classic album
Runme - suave enlightened mastery!

Not sure who to vote for, I keep settling on one and then changing my mind right before voting...

voted Patryk_K - no way I come up with that raw beat !! that's some raw shit !!

alright well every track had my head noddin but these are the guys that really impressed me:

rak- subtly unpredictable with nice rhythm, it progresses throughout the length of the track and is enjoyable to listen to. nice mastering, the sound is present yet smooth on the ears.
paoloactual- raw beat and funny/original vocals. of all the submissions containing vocals, yours stood out to me because of the execution, energy and uniqueness.
marco grouch- love the lo-fi and the loose, quick and dirty feeling. very minimal and energetic.
runme raw- you've clearly got a mad decent command of the sp. the track comes off as detail oriented where others would come off as sloppy and scatterbrained. doesn't get boring and nods your head for you.
andy ongulous- pretty much love everything about this, the tape noise, the vocal samples, the groove. great all-around song.

in the end, i went with ongulous and rak was a close runner up.

Very close between rak and tesla.
