Frankie and Doog's links didn't work for me.
Not sure if they removed their jams or not, just reporting in.

This is a tough one.Everyone was on point and all of the beats were amazing.But I went with ATLS because I like the way he arranged the chops the best...but like I said its a pretty damn hard decision.So glad this was my first battle and Im def in for more in the future. I can't believe I didn't do them sooner:)

FreshSerfPro: Really nice but i feel like i would've enjoyed a loop more than chops but thats just my taste still very nice work

TheDingo: My runner up for my choice really dope feel liked the drums a lot idk if it was just me or if it was what you were going for but really reminded me of mf doom's production specifically on like special herbs and stuff like that. Really liked it

Rak: Thick and heavy beat CRAZY

gis_sweden: A little too much use of the anime sample really didn't get a good chance to hear the actual beat

NATAN: Crazy lofi joint but a little too much going on for me still dope tho

ritchrd: mad lofi and one of the heavier sets of drums on list good work

runmeraw: vote went to you really nice work picture kinda weirded me out at first but the beat made up for that haha enjoyed it to the fullest

selftaught astronaut: similar to gis_sweden I feel like if you used less of the anime samples it would really let the beat shine but I was feeling yours and regardless nice job

took my beat off because it's shit and put no time into it.

Man all these beats are tight, it was real hard to pick one. In the end my vote went to TheDingo. I liked the choppy sound and the drums.

Went with ATLS. I listened to these at work and I wanted to stop what I was doing and spit to it right then and there. Good work.

SPwarlock - I dig that you went with reversing the samples.

FreshSerfPro - dilla siren! i can groove to this.

ATLS - That change up was pretty dope meng.Good stuff.DILLA SIREN

TheDingo - I'm digging the swing on the drums. Whatever you did with the subs is cool too.

Rak - There's a lot going on here. BOOM BOOM BAP!

gis_sweden - I love that opening sample!

OTBT - Oh yeah! My head is bobbing to this. It's booming and bapping in all the right ways.

Doogs - Some good chops right here. Could use some syncopation.

NATAN - a lot of stuff going on here..

NeiroJDC - This is the beat that stood out to me the most but tbh it sounds a bit too clean, almost as though it was made on a DAW instead of an SP...

medearis - Whoa, this one is really standing out from the rest. Did you even use the samples provided?

skinny.b - v upbeat! i dig the chops of that drum loop.

l i f - gah damn. this is hot. v good... almost TOO GOOD. r u sure u made this on an SP??

ellaguru - W/ that BOx LINK. Deng dude, I literally let out a "WOOOOH" at the sound of that drum break. Good job meng.

heavyhead. - this is nice. where's the sample from?

Runme_Raw - This is hot. Very loud compared to the rest of the submissions. Definitely a top contender.

Over all, it came down to NeiroJDC, l i f, and Runme_Raw for me. However, my vote is going to

I have yet to check them all, but I really like seeing the feedback that has been posted.
I'm a child on the sp's migrating back to hardware after years of software work and learning. I'm totally not quiting my day job not giving up on the battle scene either.
I really wanted to find out what I need to work on for the future, so thanks for the honest words....i'mah vote soon, but for real, this was fun to be a part of, looking forward to the next.

SPwarlock – pretty dope, I like the cinematic vibe on this beat. Right to the point

FreshSerfPro – like the flow of this beat, the mixing on the drums was perfect too. Nice.

ATLS – Holy fuck. This is beautiful, those horns make me feel like I’m gonna go conquer a castle in medieval times or some shit. Really dig this one.

TheDingo – fuck outta here with your offbeat hi-hats and I think I had the bass volume too low

Rak – man that was a dope intro. This beat sounds like it needs a video made for it.

gis_sweden – nice hard beat, I just felt like it was building up to something. just my opinion but I feel like this beat would be a banger if a snare kicked in at about :25 seconds. Really like this one too.

OTBT –wow. This is dope. Great intro and transitions and the dialogue samples fit the beat perfectly. Damn.

Doogs – good chops and the mix was good, I just feel like it a little inconsistent for my taste.

NATAN – block waveform, although it makes it sound as though it’s coming from a VHS player which makes it pretty dope in that aspect. Nice!

NeiroJDC – loved the delays on the samples. Trippy. Although it does sound like this was made on a DAW rather than an sp?

medearis - how the fuck did you do that with those samples? Damn, this is a really cool beat too. I really like the bassline

skinny.b – loved the drum changeups, I wasn’t feeling the melody though

l i f – trippy, a lot going on in this beat

ellaguru – that compression is amazing! Was that really done on an sp? Is it possible to do that on an sx? I’ve been trying to do that without a daw forever. Nice job!

heavyhead. – the percussion was cool, makes me wanna doze off and light incense.. haha. Nice man!

ritchrd - dirty as fuck, I feel as though the bass got in the way off the melody however

Runme_Raw – this is dope as fuck, but over the maximum time  oh well, this beat is great!

selftaught astronaut – a little muddy bass but I like that about this beat. I just feel like I hear this break so much D: but everything worked well with the beat

I have to go with ATLS on this one. That melody is amazing and those horns add to the rawness on this beat. Really was feeling this one. This battle was dope and sorry for not going more into detail with these beats I’m supposed to be writing a paper for school

as i wrote on its post, that track was sp505 via an alesis3630 compressor...that comp colour very much...many hates it because of that...many loves it because of that (expecially french house heads)...it is now very cheap so i bought it 2 years ago...anyway, a nearly result could have be done on the sp505, but i resampled yet samples to dirty them, so with its own compressor the result was heavy dirt, so then i decided to use the alesis one to keep things a bit cleaner...

Voted for ATLS, that beat sounds really good.

Due to some comments (It´s OK with me, no problem at all I can understand) about my beat I decided to upload a video on my sister´s channel (I don´t have one) to show that the beat was made on the SP-404sx. That way you can also check my setup since I´ve never been able to upload a pic on the "Studio Pics" topic.
