Can you switch to a new pattern via an external trigger on the sp-555? I know you can trigger samples but didn't know if you could cycle through different patterns via triggers as if you were just pushing the pads.

Damn I can't get this to work. I've got an Octapad II but I can't get it to do any of pattern banks and the MIDI implementation in the manual says nothing about pattern banks, only sample banks. I guess it can't be done.
