Went digging at various thrift shops and whatnot and these are what I found. Most are church or gospel records, but they were only .25 cents and looked dope.
*Edit* Didnt realize how big these pictures showed up, they are fine on my phone but I will try to shrink them on here

Get you a portable turntable for when you go out on the hunt digging.
It's dope to find a gem hidden as a surprise.
But listening before you buy will save you some dough on what looked like a ill record from the cover art. That shit is deceiving.

Yeah they were really cheap but I actually like going in blind and that way when I hear something that catches my ear it's more of a gem because I didn't know it was there like I would sampling well known breaks for example. The Hawaiian records sound dope so far though!

Re: First time digging for records
If they were a quarter or less, it's not so bad. But a buck or more, you're maaaaybe not going to strike gold for samples. And even though a buck doesn't sound like much, it's money you could invest in better equipment for your studio that you may need to think about. (But maybe they'll give you a better deal if you bought more vinyl just to clear their shelves of it). But heck, if I could score 4 pieces of wax for a buck, I think $5 would be a not too shabby investment. Not all of them will be in good condition/have something that sounds too special, but if you can find any good funk/disco/hip hop for that cheap, GRAB IT!!
