for battles
i think we should have tournaments
and have like
trophies
not like real trophies
but like electronic ones like banners saying you won or something...just an idea

I dont know if a tournament would work out too good because there aint too many people/animals on this board that are consistant with participating. But if you got a plan on how this would be set up, let us hear it.

As for the trophies, one idea was to temporarily improve the battle champions member status. It never came thru, but anything is possible in the future

and i used to enter tournaments like at the end of every second month and yeah....

work out a deal w/ mike acosta (and company) to get roland discounts for battle-winners.

I really like the idea of representing, "who" you are!!!
It's pure fun, don't get me wrong, those battle helped me a lot so that I want to say thank you with every participation! peace

yeah, I like the sound of that. I just dont have the power to do this stuff, only keesj does (i think) and dude is kinda busy sometimes so it would be hard to keep things up to date. But at least you will go down in history in the PAST MASTERS thread

Lol, count me in! 50% discount on a MV-8800 and I'd instantly buy one. I'd even borrow money for it if I have to.

Sounds like a good idea and it's definitely something that's technically possible. However, like Juxt said, I currently don't have time to keep those kind of things up to date.

My internship will last for another two weeks and some projects I'm working on should be finished by then too. Although I will start with another big school project right after that I should have some time to revamp the forums.

Some time ago a new version of this forum software was released with some new cool functions. I hope I can implement this new version and when I do that I might as well set up this rank type of function. I could give a regular forum member who I trust access to this kind of stuff just like I have done with "The Arena" with Juxt, and iG9 in the past.

However, I can't promise anything and as long as SP-Forums just keeps steady like this and no real problems arise it doesn't have priority. But keep those suggestions coming though! I try to read at least everything that is posted in "The Website" section and when I do have some time to work on SP-Forums I will definitely keep those suggestions in mind.

We appreciate it and no need to hurry man.

I spread some thoughts on that again and I had the idea to add just one more category to your profile, : "Battle Wins" or sth.
Is it that complex to do? I mean after it's done, everbody could update it on their own...
