Cleaner loops.

When I record samples using the Loop Capture, It seems like some of my recordings don't loop as well as I would like them to.

If you listen closely to the organ in "I Hate Computer" (it comes in at about 0:47) You can kinda hear the tiny gap every time it loops.

It really annoys me when I have like 5 loops I've recorded using loop capture and you can hear the tiny gaps. I don't know, maybe It's just something I'm doing when I do the loop capture. It sounds really cheesy to me when I hear that.

It would be nice if there was a way I could fix this. Any suggestions

Are you using a pedal to start/stop the loop capture?

Are you using the auto start ? Auto start cuts of the first few miliseconds of your recording. It will jack up your loops every time. If not then your just need to work on your timing a bit.

Yeah, actually I was using auto start.

I have a pedal, but I didn't see much point in using it when I have auto start.

I never thought about it cutting off part of it, though. To me it kinda sounds like it might be cutting off the end.

Try the pedal. It makes things really easy. Stomp it right on 1 and then right on 1 again to stop.

The pedal's kinda hard to get things right when I start, but I think I could get use to it.

Which petal is used for the start/stop.. Is it the Roland DP-2 or the Roland FS-5U?
