I though Commercial's beat was really well done. Cool drum pattern and sweet melody. Also liked Unfolding's beat and how he used the guitar sample.

But.. Super Dynamite pretty much ripped it. Sick melody, high energy, nice variation. A lot of dope shit happening in that beat. He gets my vote.

PADER - 404 all the way, hey! Usually I get a bit tired of these kinds of beats, but this got me nodding. Probably a good thing you got in first.
SAYEAH! - Whoah... Is this a sequel to Pader's beat? Like the little 'wah' bits & the way the track grew. Good use of everything all at once. Thanks for the vote mate!
SUPER DYNAMITE NINJA - Sick filter job & stereo depth, those horns are dope. BUT! You're a ninja! Working in sampled music! Sharing it for free? So you're breaching copyright by sharing your shurykens... Doesn't that make you a PIRATE, PIRATING MUSIC???? Are you an undercover pirate, posing as a ninja or what?

This troubles me.

TEEWOK - Damn fine work, setting the bar higher for every beat. As usual. Some of those melodies you found I can't even remember hearing in the samples, very impressive.
COMMERCIAL - Curious how you approached the samples compared to everyone else. Nice to hear you come out with a different tip to the rest of us. The track definitely improved as it progressed. The loop at the end was slick.
GIS_SWEDEN - Really like how you've developed this ambient/noise techno angle of late. The high frequency stuff is really quite beautiful. With a bit more development in the track you'd be garaunteed my vote.
ASHA C - Didn't hear the sub-bass you made in this the first time. Loving way you extracted the little noise parts that come in over the Diagoro sample. Hearing your track made me go back & rework mine. If I submitted the first version of my track for this battle, folks would be calling me out for plagiarism. Cool to hear someone flip some of the samples the same way as I did.
RUNME_RAW - Dude, now you're taking the piss. This is batshit crazy & I love it. Not really a 'beat' as such as a messed up piece of sound art. You must've had fun making this one. The ending is a straight up tease too, kinda like you've just told us 'you know what? this is what I could've made, but you'd be expecting that'. Sick.
HUNGRYM4N - You gotta start somewhere right? Not bad for a first battle. Sounds like you were going for some kind of messed up 60's era Batman tv show beat. Keep battling man, the competition will hone your skills for sure.
GRANDPAKYRE - Old school vs 404 vibe. Nice low key entry. Really like the way you edited the drums with the snare rolls. This one's ready for an MC, only beat of the battle that's sounded ready for one too. Well done!
CHOPPERMAN - Only track I hadn't heard before voting. Drums, wah-guitar & processing here are nuts. Seems like you had a bit of advantage holding out & submitting later, this is totally unlike anything else. Pity it isn't longer & you didn't have more time, I wanted to hear where you'd take it at the 55 second mark. The way it ends just is when a change-up could've come in with a totally different angle on the samples. Maybe next round, right?

Really like the variety of beats in this battle, having 4 samples got some great results. Who to vote for? How about an underdog.

I truly enjoyed each beat.

OK..Did a write up on each track and comp crashed so i really can't be doing with re writing and re listening so I voted for Grandpakyre, Faves were teewok, unfolding and super dynamite ninja, but all round great beats.

It looks like Teewok's taking the gold on this one, which means the first track on the Winner's Circle tape will be Fourplay.
If anyone is curious about the stats for Water No Get Enemy on Bandcamp, it has just under 300 plays and 8 downloads.
