Anybody messed around with this app? Wife is getting google tablet for Xmas and I have no experience with the android apps.

i have it.
on paper this is one of the best (with 2 or 3).
i use an phone with android, so i think that on tablet it's more and more amazing. it's a (good) synth + sequencer/patterns and you can import samples too.

looks cool. Any other interesting android apps for music that you like? I know there was a thread awhile back but I haven't found it.

yes, we done another one in the production section maybe.

sceneplay and pddroiparty: the both run patches of pure data, very interesting program to do synth,sampler drum machines (on pc).
caustic:cool sampler/seq,synth
spc:sampler with groove
zquence: a poor version of fruity loop
g-stomper:emulation of electribes by korg
nanoloop.
jasuto: an emulation of reactable
looper:not very precise but...
