You can use open kicks and snares also bass is allowed , but the only challenge is creating your own hihats or shakers using the mic on sp. For example hitting a glass bottle or shaking keys . I know ya'll scientist with an sp so that won't be difficult for you guys. The challenge goes on til friday Nov. 2nd

interesting to see the battles have changed a bit... might give this a shot

I've been hoping to see a battle where you have to get creative with the built in mic. Haven't done this yet, should be fun

Not to be polemic, but this is a 555/404/202 only battle? What we do without the internal mic? Should it's allowed to use extern mic for the other sp?

so to be clear

1. use the sample provided for main chops
2. You can use any bass/snare one hits
3. You can add a bass guitar/synth bass of your choosing
4. Percussion/other SFX need to come from mic on SP

i thought all the battle here were any roland only. if u have computer daw or dj mixer u can use mic through that.

you can use any kick or snare from your collection.

any bassline is allowed

only thing u need to create your own hihat or shaker using microphone whatever u need to mic up is your choice.
