Should I get an SP-555 or a Roland SH-101?

Hey fam!
I love my sp-303 more than my own mother, but I kinda wanna start doing more ambitious stuff on a sampler than the 303 alone allows.
On the other hand, I'm obsessed with the 101. Like hardcore. For the last 6 months I've daydreamed about owning one for at least 10 minutes a day.
What do I do, fam?

Don't u have a microsampler? In any case, u got a sampler, get a synth. Why not get a struth-1 with the same chip, it will be new and produce more sounds that are even midi controlable. But u have to build it yourself or try and find someone to sell you there's.
I got the biscuit recently and i love it's synth but the sh-101 is a much better synth and the struthi with that cm chip would slay my der oto.

Never heard anything sound quite like the SH-101.
And besides, I don't think I'd be happy with a surrogate.

Yeah, they do. But they cost roughly the same and require a controller keyboard.
If I thought I might use the other features of the mc202, I would probably look into that.
Dunno. It's tough, innit?
