importing multiple samples in the 404 all at once?
hey, i read the process in manual about importing samples but i am having a hard time figuring out how to import them all at once. is it possible? do i have to arrange them a certain in the cf card folder? after i hit cancel and resample at the same time, then hit record and choose a destination where do i go from there? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks for your time!

Importing, and actually recording samples are two different things. Which are you trying to do?
Recording the samples from a source, into the 404, is a manual process, requiring that you start and stop the source (unless you have a long file with nice breaks between each sample) and record each sound into a pad, one at a time.
You can "import" by using the Roland wav convertor software, where wav files can be imported to the card, and then the card is loaded and ready to use in the 404.
