Hey everyone, left this open a little bit longer than expected... Damn those were some hard samples! Didn't realise how hard they were until I started chopping. For reference's sake they were:
An a capella
A break
A song

There's been 3 entries this round. They are (in order of submission):
1 - made entirely inside the 404 with no outside samples
2 - a mystery submission
3 - made with an extra Ennio Morricone sample (from A Fistful Of Dollars) plus self played guitar & bass

I voted 3 because of the crazy timestreching plus the drone guitar. 2 had some crazy looping & killer paranoid vibe, this is what I'd usually vote for but I couldn't go past the additional guitar. Considering who made 1, that was a surprisingly traditional flip. Managing to wrestle the three completely unrelated tempos together worked!

I'm gonna vote number 2, at first I was like what the hell is this crazy out of time beat, it had that feel like it was tripping over itself, but as it went on after a few bars I was really nodding along. Great upbeat feel. Really strange rhythm but makes you want to get up and dance.

Oh yeah, I haven't announced who made what yet! Heh... Sorry fellas.

Those were some hard samples, I couldn't finish the beat I made for the battle (I wasn't the only one here that struggled with them either) so extra respect to Gis, Ninja & Asha for getting some quality music out!
