thought blavatsky, Lan_odyssey and IIIII killed it, it was CLOSE but i went with Lan_odyssey. respect man, those drums were so on point for me, so close though the other two killed it too.

hmmm tough one, for me it came down to deejayupserd and blavatsky, blavatsky's had a very cinematic feel to it and sounded great, a very beautiful song. deejay upserd's was a super catchy, minimalist style beat that had nice subtle clicks and changes in it, i was groovin' to it, so deejay upserd gets my vote

all dope beats but i had to give it to IIIII, that sounded so good. just the right feel to it, nice work!

Nice work everyone. It was pretty much a three way tie between:
DJ Mellow - loving the cruisey 90's trip hop vibe, I could bop to that rhythm for days. Its a very Ninja Tune/Mo'Wax sounding beat.
IIIII - absolute kicker of a beat. Gnarly swing! Great balance of compression & stereo width. The warped guitar is beautiful...
Blavatsky - nice ducking-compression-over-reverb effect. This sounds like Matthewdavid (I mean that in the best way), the change ups in the 2nd half keep it fresh.
The other 3 were going in the right direction (they all sounded good & kept my attention) but just didn't quite grab me the same way because they were either a bit too long or needed more distinct sections.
Ended up voting for IIIII because that beat got me kinda psyched to start grabbing samples for battle 100...

liked em all....dj mellow, IIIII and lan stood out. Voted Lan for the atmosphere and almost-falling-apart beat that worked.
