So I'm finally starting to find some decent music in op-shop/charity shops in australia - probably because a yougner generation of people are starting get old enough to donate their vinyl.. You sill gotta be quick before the used record store owners buy it all, but still I picked up some funky and discoey tracks on vinyl all for $1 each today, and I've noticed things changing ab it in other places too.. hopefully this is a sign of things to come :)

thats good to hear man... i'd be pissed if things were always dry around here... im lucky to live in a city with 5 record shops and a slew of thrift/charity joints... although the real gems are found at garage sales i can def understand the excitement cuz a few of these shops were unknown to me during the first few years of beatmaking.

yeah, garage sales are awesome - but around here up until now they were like the ONLY place... theres really only 2 or 3 big record stores here (for used/old stuff) - they charge way too much and buying it kinda takes the fun out of it to me.. i like finding stuff ive never heard of and bringing home a big pile of mystery rekkids
