back in the 80s loads of french punk bands were using drum machine, it sounds cool, this one has got some really good samples chucked in there also, like a whistle and a gun-shot they sound like they're off an old skool yamaha keyboard, propper 8-bit. has anyone got any links to somewhere where i can download a similiar sort of 8bit sound...?

check the yamaha, roland ,korg, akai, casio, boss, sequential circuit models of the time! i'm sure there are samples on the net...

8-bit wise: save any sample as an 8-bit wav in your audio editor. I know the 404 can read those direct off the card, probably others SPs can as well.

wicked your all so kind! has that pack got the 8 bit whistle/gun shot sort of sounds i'm looking for, i'm too lazy right now to actually create them myself!
