Sample the beatles. tons of demos, instrumentals and what not out there to find, even the vinyl is sitting around at most second hand stores. if you listen you can even pull out a ton of drum hits due to the production style on a lot of the early recordings, but
outside drums are allowed
outside bass allowed but no synths
no acapella's outside of beatles vocals
no rapping (

)
beats due by the night of saturday the 9th

YESSSSS... great idea.
This is what I was thinking about as I lay in the dentist chair getting my brains drilled out... they had some Beatles playing, and I was like, "at least they have good music to listen to... this would be a dope open challenge".
To be honest, I wanted to punch myself in the face when I saw your post about it being a Metallica challenge... just saying.

Noice. I'm going to hit up the dark and dusty .99 bin tomorrow and see what Beatles I can drag kicking and screaming out into the light of SP-FORUMS.

I seriously couldn't find any for under £6.00 (unless you count Ringo Star solo albums)! Going to hit up my homie who's got all of them on vinyl glory tomorrow. Never thought finding cheap Beatles would be an issue.

£4.00 at the charity shop today, you know, the one that never has any records. Box is fucked but their's 20 45's in decent shape in it. Suppose I'm in on this one then.

Damn, might get in on this one....the possibilities are so open that my ADD brain may not be able to fuse something by the 9th, but looking forward to hearing entries...

Found a copy of the white album on vinyl at goodwill a few months ago. One dollar! Hadn't made a beat with it until now, used some stuff from "martha my dear" and "bungalow bill." All 404.
