When you have the mic in can you run it through the MFX?
How does this preamp sound ?

What about sample grades on the 555?

I was thinking of getting one of these to use live- has anyone used both the 606 and the 555? What are the workflow diffs?

1 Yes.

2 It's ok not great, kinda noisy

3 sample in normal, or lofi; lofi kinda sucks. There is compression so its not lossless.

4 606 workflow - you got screen, tracks, better pitching, more like a cheap MPC
555 - quick, mean and dirty , great effects not the best to build entire tracks or micro edit anything. Great to preload with phrases or maybe use live as part of a bigger setup
