Hey guys. New here. Been reading for a week or two. Had my SP-404 for a few months, but this is about the first time I've tried making a proper track on it.

I'm happy with the samples I've cut out, but need some more experience in arranging patterns and playing with it live with effects etc. Doing this track has taught me a lot about working with it though. I even stumbled upon a little tempo syncing trick with MARK as I was looking through the manual again.
I'm really digging IIIII's entry. Amazing creepy Boards of Canada sort of feel.

Okey, I've found some time to hop in as well;

Using the compressor effect of the vinyl effect really pumps up that basedrum by the way. Pretty powerful stuff.
Very nice beats again all!

Right on man. I appreciate that.
I'm feelin your beat too. I like that last strum in there at the end of the first bassline, and the change-up is sick too. What kind of SP are you using?

Listening to mine again, the beats pretty weak compared to the other entries here. I liked hearing how everyone treated the samples, got some ideas and motivation for trying different stuff in future.
SP-404 for me.
