i recently found a kawai I for few euros, what do you think about it?

really ella, I am not a synth expert so I can't help you with this specific synth - I initally wanted a juno, but these are getting very expensive (juno 60) - so I did some research. www says that the Kawai SX240 is very similar to a juno synth, it even has the same ensemble chip too. its my first synth.

I cannot compare but the sx240 is great. I am still lusting for a korg trident, but prices are outragous. Right now I think there are some dca synths out there that sound good and haven't been "discovered"yet. Korg DW 8000 comes to mind - I almost bought the korg btw, but the kawai popped up for 350, so I couldn't resist. Sold a few guitarpedals and now its here.

So, I cannot answer your question unfortunately, just give you advise - buy DCO synths from the 80s NOW! they are getting expensive as well.
