Nah, sorry that's not quite what I meant. If everyone agrees, we can call this one done and start the new one now.

As there hasn't changed anything over the last two or three days in the votes, I'd say Culprit should find some samples so we can start the next battle.

I'm not sure because now people are using vocal snippets and laser sounds that weren't part of the posted samples. Are we using outside bass and sfx on all the battles now?

No, I think now is a good time to go back to the old rules, as the Open Challenges were meant to be 'free for all' and do whatever you like as long as you stick to the rules given by the winner.

The SP Battles however were not.

So.. basically, the rules would be 2 samples, usually one with drums inside or a separate drumbreak and no outside ish. SP gear only.

For more free form battles, we are going to do Open Challenges again, for which ideally we need Dibia$e (or someone else if he decides so) to pick some new samples (he won there too).

That woulda been hella funny, but I'm sure Dibiase works a normal job and can't afford that many people in the pockets for free records, but 1 record is good promo.

I would gladly pay money for physical coppies of albums from many people on here.

I never planned on retiring from beat money and I have a regular job but it's like nobody wants to pay for music anymore. even at shows I end up giving away more CDs and tapes than I sell. but I feel like I just want people to have my stuff; pay or not.
