I have a similar problem to the original poster
I'm not using my sp555 for recording at all..
i'm using it as a sequencer basically.
I have beats bassline etc etc all in the same bpm for gigs blah blah
but when playing live i've noticed my samples (premade on software..then sent to the 555) eventually pull away from each other and go out of time....no matter how hard i try to edit them perfectly beforehand.
(note..i use the machine live alongside other hardware synths etc)
I have not tried the quantize function at all though...as i thought it was for recording sampling only.....like the way most of you use the machine.
do you think it will help my bastard rhythmshifter problem?
Which Sampler/Looper for really seamless loops?
