Yo Doc, what about the deadline. I decided to step in but it's impossible for me to be ready until friday. To be honest the only chance for me to get down is on sunday... I know it's still a long time but maybe other people would like to get down at the weekend too? It's not that important, I mean I'll do that shit anyway but just let me know...
(a MV ???

Thanks man, yeah, I'm totally excited today. This machine totally rocks! (So far obviously, as I haven't been able to figure out everything or it's limitations).

Yeah, I would like that as well.

(a MV ??? Shocked )
Hahaha, yeah.

Trust me though, I've worked my ssss off to get one, these last few months. Also got lucky on the price a bit and if it weren't for that I probably wouldn't have one this month already. Anyways, it's going off topic.

I'll extend the deadline, unless Juxt isn't down. As for the MV have fun just don't bring it to the battles, it's hard enough to keep up with the 555's.

Thanks and sure thing, no problem, I'll battle with SP-606 only.
In fact, I don't know the MV well enough yet to make battle-worthy beats, nor would battle-rules allow that.

word... word... holdin down the 303 is definitely OG. I think multi-track sequencing adds the biggest evolutionary jump, but I'm sure everyone has their own opinion on that. And the machines that have it prolly had to sacrifice in another area, be it loading time or whatever.
I love hearing the different approaches to flipping the sample that we all come with given the different machines and work flows, etc. And when someone learns the ins and outs of any of em... the sky is the limit. Straight SP madness... y'all feel me?
I wanna hear someone drop a 505 beat in here sometime!
Yo Blast1... are you gonna cook up a banger on your 808?

Word! I'd love to hear some more 505 or 808 fire as well.

right on homie... lookin forward to it. I'm pretty sure the deadline is getting pushed back til after the weekend, so you can chop at a leisurely pace. yo, this is starting to feel like a quick-fire challenge! just playin... but really... top chef to the rescue!

Please pack your samplers and leave.
You could make a decent beat out of Top Chef's transitional music, that would be a funny battle.

no doubt... I've been noticing their music a lot this season. that would be a real cool gig. they do a good job with it... and yeah, for a battle, you could definitely get some hot shit... including the dialogue and what not.
have you noticed ESPN's background beats?! man... straight hiphop... and a lot of it that sounds like some producer's reject shit. not to say it isn't good... but it's instrumentals that prolly most of us on here could bang out. of course they got their licensed beats too... but a lot more stuff from the under lately.
