yup battle is still on. I think its due tomorow, we will wait for you to finish though.
no you cant use your own drumkits, if you want drums you gotta filter it from the sample. Maby we should post up some drums with the sample for all the future battles. Now it seems like most people would rather have the drums.
have fun. these battles are a great way to learn your machine

i am freakin stumped... i've sat infront of this sample for hours and hours not being able to pull anything I want.
juxt set the bar way too high with his beat!!!
that ish is ill man, way to pull that tone from the end. i never let the sample play till the end till recently, and i was like "oooohhhhhhhh, thats where he got it...." very nice.
i guess i got to keep on truckin.

... please wait for my garbage-track...!!!
That was a horror to work on... I'll be back in a few hours, so watch out...
(Who else is on #16???) ...after this battle I'd like to know, why this was so difficult, although the sample was so nice?!

i think it was the difficulty in getting drums
would've been nice if that live band had let the drummer have a solo!!
didn't they realise that decades later the SP Elite would be slicing their work apart?!

... what a cranky-skanky (?) trip.. a true challenge at all... time, skill, creativity and juxt... I'm not sure if I should be happy or not... anyway i don't wanna waste any more time on that shit... I know it must be mixed and some drumz ain't on the right place I felt, but I'm gonna let the shit out now... *bleeding ears* Please, don't fix me on that...

Edit:
... my postman brought me directly after this post the judie tzukie lp...
that youtube-video is a lil bit higher pitched as the track on vinyl... and the drums sounding so so good and that guitar is sooo lovely and yes it's a acoustic.. I'm totally excited... but I can't hear that shit anymore... *burp*

... I cursed the guy who uploaded the video... It was very hard to filter...
Juxt did best on that I think... He really picked the 2 sickest parts et voilá...
I had so much trouble in getting anything "clean" out of it... so happy that it's over... btw. when is it over?

Mmm, I've really tried, but the sample is not clean enough for me. Didn't have time to really dive into this and use effects to 'make' the drums and so on sound different than the monotonous something I got when I sampled and chopped it, sorry.

Hey everyone. Nice work by all on this sample track... a good variety for sure. I've got a little ditty to add to the mix. It ended up coming out as 2 diff themes when it was all said and done. Hope you enjoy.
