I added sub bass and fuzz on 2 chops of the keyboard at 0:32 of the sample track. Got the drums from this track too. I used low sub bass for the kick and high to low sub bass on the same kick for the snare sound. Thanks again Runme Raw for the encouragement to rock my beat. Your battle challenges seem to bring out the best in me.

Made me think about how music is used as a weapon most effectively now, perverting our favorite art form into a recruitment tool for poor kids to sell the elite's drugs for them with the added benefit of helping the prison industrial complex to make money. Dope rhymes..this has to be THE LOOSEST use of a battle sample ever...

This kind of reminds me of AFX getting the shit kicked out of him for a remix he did...the record company was like, 'you didn't even use the original song for anything!' and his reply was 'yes i did. I took the entire original song, sped it up until it was about 1/4 a second long and used it as a snare for the entire track.'

love fela, love the freedom and open ended creativity the rules allowed. that being said, i tried to stay true to the sp arena spirit and do some raw stripped down shit.
