i didn't plan on being qualified in this round so i threw vocals on it ,but still wanted to flip after hearing all the dope entries. i used the external mic and recorded scissors slicing for the snares and hihats. i used my voice for closed hihat and also wooden spoons hitting the counter top for rim shots. >>> http://soundcloud.com/mr-dibiase/battle-124-longevity

hey all

new to the sp world, just got this 202 a few weeks ago, but we're already in love. so much fun. for the recorded sounds i used a liquor bottle, a bottle cap falling into an empty glass, and scratched my finger across the internal mic to get a ghetto carb shake effect haha. god i love this thing. also i turned the pitch down on the sample, not sure if that's legal or not. anyways, check it out:

any chance for an extention til tomorrow night?

since i know alot of ppl work or school and just life ish. let's just extend til tomorrow night don't want anybody to miss out and big ups to everyone who already flipped some dope joints. this challenge i'm sure alot of you already mic up sounds, but it definitely got me out of a comfort zone definitely gonna start crafting sounds from scratch and incorporate into more beats. also i'm not sure how to post the polls up for voting may need some help on that. lol

Used glass jar, keys, knives, metal coffee mug, toothpicks, all types of shit for percussion. Oh yeah did couple vocal drops on the mic too.

Check that poll option when you start a thread: it has to be there from what i remember.
