mpc and sp 505 midi
wat up fam wat you can do is midi your yamaha rmx 1 to the sp 505 you can sample all your sounds and even edit them on your sp 505 then place them on your sp 505's pads and use the rmx 1 as your sequencer.thats what i use to do when i had my sp 1200 and s900 sample long loops in s900 and trigger with the sp 1200 straight crack thats what pete rock ,large pro and alot of other brothers did.

I got some midi cables that evening and went to work on getting everything rigged up. that shit is real slick. sequencing the SP with the RM1x... and also running the RM1x audio thru the SP on it's way to my 8 track.
in addition to all the sequencing juice, it works really good for sampling sounds out of the RM1x (drum hits, synth lines, or whatever...) and dirtying up it's sound with some SP effects.
